The Retro Ramblers is what we call our ‘oldies’ group. Andy sings and plays guitar and harmonica; Sara plays mandolin and helps out on vocals. As a duo or trio (add fiddle, keyboards, accordion, drums, or saxophone) we use pre-recorded bass and drum ‘tracks’ to keep toes tappin’ while freeing us to play melodies on our instruments.

We can do shows that concentrate on a specific decade — 1950s, ’60s, or ’70s — or only songs from 1980s-early this century. Here are some artists that we play at least a couple songs each by: Creedence Clearwater, Jimmy Buffet, Fats Domino, Neil Young, Classics IV, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Neil Diamond, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, and others. If you like classic country, we can do that, too. We also do a ‘Retro Christmas’ show that emphasizes favorites from the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s.
